What is Laura's (Tangential) Writings?
This blog is a barely thematic journey though my tangentizing mental life, captured in 25 word bits, tangent matrixes, definitions, recipes, micro-reviews, and ad hoc posts on whatever captures my mind for the day. Some of the posts are ponderings for Who in the World Are We?--my blog that focuses on whole life health in Christ and with one another.
Since Laura's (Tangential) Writings focuses on my mental wanderings, feel free to use the tags (see the side bar), search box, and other tools to poke around. Enjoy, engage, question.
Who's Laura AKA Tangentrider?
I buy too many books, spend too much time doting over my coffee (note: MY home-roasted and brewed coffee, not *$), and am probably over-committed. I've two graduate degrees and am working on a third, but still can't quite figure out Lost (I gave up) or proper filing. Two favorite meals (currently) are anything homemade-primal and nearly anything from Il Fornaio Regionale. I suffer from bouts of picture taking, have tried my hand at drawing, play a few instruments (see the sidebar)
If you're interested in reading something more essay-like, focusing on whole life health, check out my other blog at Who in the World Are We?

thanks for dropping by my blog. I really enjoy your writings. My brother is trying to move out your way to attend Fuller late this summer. He, his wife, and I are all coffee people. We were involved in a church that roasts coffee to fund an ministry internship program (awcoffess.com).
cwillz, thanks for popping in.
First, funding a ministry through coffee roasting is just plain cool (I am part of a ministry that funds itself--and donates to a local rescue mission--by collecting cans and bottles). It's amazing what you can accomplish without a budget.
Second, not only if Fuller a great school (many of the profs here received their PhDs at Fuller), but their coffee house/bookstore is (or was last time I was there) excellent.
Saw on en to Fitness blog that you mentioned making kefir with coconut milk? Could you tell me how? Would love to try that and have the kefir granules but am not a fan of other milks
