Genesis 20:3 But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night and said to him, "Behold, you are a dead man because of the woman whom you have taken, for she is a man's wife."In both of these instances, God shows concern for someone outside of what one might expect. I wonder how the original hearers reacted to these accounts. If we really hear these stories, and then take a look at how we expect God to act, how do our expectations measure up?
