In those days there was no king in Israel.
Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.
1 Samuel 3:18
So Samuel told him everything

Let him do what seems good to him."

"The glory has departed from Israel,
for the ark of God has been captured."

Yahweh's glory
now have glory stolen.
Ichabod is born. the
sin-tolerater dies.
a prophet becomes priest.
pagans
beg mercy
with golden sculptures
of tumors and mice.
and faith says, "It's Yahweh.
Let him do what seems good to him."
it need not
make sense,
yet it
does.
