NEW TERM...MORE READING & THINKING

School starts today. The ritual has transitioned me back into academic time: Saturday lunch I enjoyed an IPA. Now such things have been put away until summer and Sunday morning I made a lovely jug of barley-hops tea...good stuff! (really!)

This term I'm continuing my research on emerging church ecclesiology, studying the theology of Matthew with Michael Wilkins, and reflecting on the missional theology of Lesslie Newbigin with Tom Steffen.

I'll be pre-posting books on Stuff I've Read (and updating as I finish reading), writing weekly reflections/summaries/whatever on Laura's Writings and Who in the world are we?

"... until summer ...", wow, I am still impressed by this awesome monasticism!

  2. Thanks. It is required by my school and, honestly, helps me transition between academic and "regular" time. (And, frankly, discovering "ale tea" helps :-)
