ONE LAST BIT OF SUMMER

DSCF3056

Summer is over for me, as the term started 8/22 and my first class was 8/28; nonetheless, I am keeping the "Labor Day" tradition and spending one last weekend porch-sitting. Alas, regular time has begun, so no goodly ale will be enjoyed at Finn McCool's Pub in Twin Peaks (though I may have some Shepherd's Pie) and there is a fair amount of research typing.

There are seasons of enjoying God's bounty and there are seasons of setting such things aside. This is the ebb and flow of life.

And so, I raise a beautiful glass of iced tea...cheers!
