Agreed on all (I was self-constrained by the 25words motif...and the particular mood of the mind when the list was made), especially garlic (which I apparently put in another category, along with onions (yum) and other mirepoix-type ingredients.

Some of my favorites: cinnamon, nutmeg, fresh ginger root, fresh garlic, habanero peppers, vindaloo curry.
