EXPERIMENT IN TEACHING PREP

So, this past Tuesday I challenged the TFB collegians to engage in a bible study practice many of us do not normally practice: reading the text (see link below) over and over, praying, and listening for God to speak. I also asked them to have paper and pencil handy to write down what came to mind. We will begin studying the passage as a group on the evening of June 13.

Well, this is an online companion to that experiment. My hope is that they--and anyone who cares to join us--will post comments here and get the horizontal conversation going.

We'll see how it goes.


INSTRUCTIONS
  • Read prayerfully, slowly, and repeatedly.
  • Write down what comes to mind.
  • Post some thoughts, questions, observations, confusions, and anything else that comes to mind here.
  • Keep doing it until June 13.
