We're traveling through First John during Sunday Collegium using personal and group Lectio. During my own lectio of 1:5, my mind went to the light paintings I have made with my camera. As my first creative offering to the Collegium, I created a framed piece for the college room (recreated for the web), to help us think through what it means when John says, God is light and darkness-in-him is not, not at all.
