Coming up in April, I'll be (co-)leading a TFB Academy discussing the question, "What is worship?" These posts are the beginning of my thinking. These are, admittedly, rough and initial responses to the passages.

Psalm 100

Worship is not optional; it is commanded. It is a necessary response to God's intrinsic worth, revealed in his goodness, steadfast love, and faithfulness. Even so, worship is not mere duty. It is to be filled with boisterous joy and obvious thankfulness.
