It's a night and day difference

Nearly every weekday morning of the year, I walk to the bus before dawn. I've come to realize that I like it that way. The weather is cooler before dawn, the people are quieter, the bus and train are more subdued: I guess it just feels cozy. Of course, it also helps that the neighborhood troublemakers are still asleep when I'm heading out.

If my schedule ever changes and I begin leaving in the light, I'm not sure I'll be able to handle it. Then again, to be human is to adapt, so I guess I'll muddle through.
