While Gene Scott was, admittedly, a bit of a wacko, he knowledge and handling of Scripture were (mostly) intact. Who else can teach (amazingly good stuff) using, what, five white boards scribbled with at least five different ancient languages and still gather such a huge following?
Yeah, the cigar smoking, rock and roll playing, motorcycle riding, etc was a bit, shall we say, off, but the guy knew his stuff.
