I was a delegate to the Transformation Ministries 2006 Annual Conference this past weekend. (This is the region disassociating from the American Baptist Churches USA.) I left the conference quite glad that I had attended, while realizing the huge homework price I would be paying. I also left a bit sad, for I am at the very least a third generation American Baptist. But I am a Jesus-follower first.
There is much road to travel on this journey; we have only just begun. But, my oh my, what a beginning.
