Worship and Glory 5 of 14

Coming up in April, I'll be (co-)leading a TFB Academy discussing the question, "What is worship?" These posts are the beginning of my thinking. These are, admittedly, rough and initial responses to the passages.

Psalm 57

Worship is us-toward-God not God-toward-us. Even so, just like David in this psalm, we may need to start with God-toward-us. The truth is, though, that too many of our gatherings stop at God-toward-us, rather than moving on to us-toward-God. This ought not to be so.
