Coming of the Kingdom
by Herman N. Ridderbos
(librarything entry; my scan results)
Good News,
salvation given,
not as a response to worth,
but as a response to the guilt and corruption
of these needy ones.
To these,
the Father's care
demands their repentance.
No longer seeking deliverance,
they seek
him and
his kingdom.
What is left,
but to walk in his ways:
not as works for hire,
but as gifts from daughters and sons.
