O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter has done?
Just as the potter,
you own me.
When my wee-god cries,
"Unfair!"
you own me.
Choosing to relent from curses
at my repentance.
Choosing to recant blessings
at my disobedience.
In all this
thank you for the unconditional covenants
--Abrahamic
and New--
for without them
I would surely perish.
