Mindfulness & Self-state


The self-state forms in conversation with itself, so pay mindful attention to the process.

Think of the self (not the soul, but the self) as a dynamic construct formed from our patterns of behavior. Add to this, the feedback loops in which greater influence of the emerging self-state and current self-state, and the lesser influences of the telic and current self-states, as well as the telic and emergent shape one another.

Tending to this web of feedback loops and self-states may be seen as one component of mindful awareness.
