The church is the community of those who trust and well in Jesus' steadfast love.
The church is not an organization, despite all appearances. Rather, she is persons-in-community-in-Christ, dwelling in and by Jesus' steadfast love and caring for and protecting this community of believers. The church lives out Jesus' steadfast love by loving one another and by proclaiming Jesus to all through actions and words.
