In the midst of reality's complexity, the people of God are called upon to reflect God's glory while minimizing sin's effects.
We are always deciding and responding in the context of a complex world, the meaning of which is confusing to us. Most of the complexity comes from the fact that reality has been created by an infinitely creative God. Therefore, it is understandable that humans, as contingent beings, would have some difficulty grasping its meaning. That every part of reality simultaneously reflects God, while carrying the stain of humanity's rebellion, only muddles things further.
In the midst of this, we must decide and act. These decisions and actions ought to magnify God's glory while minimizing sin's stain.
