Community Takes Responsibility (Colossians 3:12-17)

Community means taking responsibility for what happens in and as a community in a way that reflects and declares our gratitude to the Father.

• We are responsible for cultivating within ourselves the outwardly-directed, personal attributes of verse 3:16: characterized by Scripture, teaching and learning, gratitude, and worship.
• We are responsible for putting up with and forgiving siblings who annoy or offend us.
• We are responsible for prioritizing love that moves us toward community maturity.
• We are responsible for holding peace-wholeness as our heart-based community umpire.
