Ministry requires that believers live in community in ways that align with and please God.
As those who minister together in the presence of God, believers with leadership roles are attendants of Christ and estate managers of the mysteries of God. Their whole lives must show them to be dependable and trustworthy, for they will be judged by God, a much more thorough and stringent evaluation than that done by themselves or other humans.
Let us remember that all believers are expected to judge the external words and actions of fellow believers but have no capacity at all to judge hidden thoughts or motivations. Only Jesus, who is the Judge, can do that.
