Reality is Sacramental and Personal

The Christian worldview is the process of coming to see reality from God's perspective, thereby countering the objectivist, dehumanizing worldview of our present culture.

Mentally grasping and forming ideas about reality from God's perspective is always tending toward a comprehensive, sacramental, and personal worldview. Reality can be comprehensive because God is Creator and Lord of all, and everything is his and reflects him. Reality can be sacramental because everything reflects and glorifies God and his ends: all creation reflects the holy God. Reality can be personal because a Trinity of persons--the one God--is at the center and base of all that is.

This worldview directs is to God and is the context within which we understand and form ideas about reality. As a result, we come to know and trust God as the ultimate authority in all things, and we come to hold persons, both divine and human, as of inestimable value.
