The Church is Community (1 Peter 2:4-10)

The church is a community by calling and design. Therefore, each and the whole are to glorify the One who has called and designed the church.

• Community is the essence of who we are as church: priesthood, race, nation, and people.
• We are also individuals (living stones) who are essentially connected in Jesus by the Spirit and, therefore, to one another.
• As a community, each member individually and all the members together have one primary calling: glorify God by proclaiming Jesus.
