All for his Glory

Excellences and weaknesses are both for God's glory and not ours.

 

It is false humility to discount the excellences that God has given, as these are always gifts to be used for his glory. It is also false humility to glorify our weaknesses. Rather, we are able to glory in our weaknesses only because God glorifies himself in them. So, whether in strength or in weakness, God is glorified in his people.
